Intern Psychologist

At Global Discovery School (GDS), we innovate K12 space. We help nation prepare for a superpower status by investing in children. Our big new innovation is to launch the next-generation school USP called - THE EMPOWERING SPACE BY PERFORMANCE COACH FOR ACADS & LIFE. It will be created by the scientific understanding of the child, the ecosystem of educators, parents, management and also of school processes & policies deeply rooted in psychology.

We do not work on clinical cases but on the mainstream population - students / parents / staff/management.

LMM is an evidence-based AI-powered technological platform that acts as an exclusive Guide and an Enabler to identify, understand, and build every child’s physical, psychological, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual self. LMM creates a systematic and efficient communication channel to bridge the gap between parents, family, peers, educators, and experts, each drawing from varied facets of the child’s living experience, at home, in school, and the outside world.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- 80% time on children, 20% time on teachers, parents and school management.
- Practice self-awareness and compassion, fostering contribution at all times.
- Conduct psychological assessments and tests for students
- Educate and recommend actions to address specific behaviors and experiences.
- Develop and individualized treatment plan for each child
- Educate family members on what they can do for their child or how to respond to their certain behavior
- Ensure equitable access to opportunities and rigorous curriculum for all students
- Collaborate with teacher and parents to perform assessments, interpret tests, and study student records
- Educate family members on supporting their child's development.
- Comfortably represent Empowering Space brand as a visible figure.

**Psychologist Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Counseling.
- Freshers will be considered.
- Practical experience of working with children in a clinical setting will be a plus point.
- Must be approachable and emphatic towards children.
- Integrity and professionalism
- Ability to respond effectively to the needs of a diverse student pool
- Working knowledge of various counseling models, practices and resources
- Engaging interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to collect and analyze data
- Computer literacy
- Sound judgment and emotional intelligence
- Comfortably represent Empowering Space brand as a visible figure.

**Job Type**: Internship

Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month

- How many years of experience counselling adults?
- How many mainstream cases (not clinical) have you handled?
- Have you done Landmark Forum (from Landmark Worldwide) or worked/studied the ontological frameworks in psychology about study of being, existence, reality as it relates to human experiences and mental processes, understanding of mind, consciousness and human behavior?
