Roles and Responsibilities
- To work in close coordination with the Principal, Director Sports & Gymkhana Committee providing assistance in performing administrative and supervisory duties including coaching & planning training schedule for student.
- To supervise, implement and monitor sports programs in Mithibai College and further report to Principal & Director Sports on regular basis.
- Develop Sports training program and practices schedules leading to high-quality outcomes for all students.
- To train, supervise & monitor use of Gym equipment at Gymkhana
- To take responsibility for maximizing the learning of Physical Fitness and sports, besides this ensuring that all students gain encouragement and opportunities to participate to the best of their ability in University games.
- To supervise the training program as well as, operating, and scheduling Sports coaches duties in corresponding to an organization program.
- Plan and coordinate all administrative duties, using systems and processes relevant to the Mithibai Gymkhana Committee.
- Monitor inventory of sports equipment’s & gym equipment’s and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints.
- Uphold and extend skills and knowledge in the field of sport and physical education.
- Responsible to organize various University level sporting events, Annual Sports Day, inter-college competitions within the institution program.
- Regularly monitoring the student progress in learning and performing including their fitness level and maintaining records to review and provide feedback to Principal & Director Sports about the training program.
- Plan and coordinate with Director Sports for organizing various sports workshop/ seminar
- Plan and coordinate with Director sports for organizing various sports festivals
- As a part of baseline data collection of all students, prepare student profile which shall include Sports Achievement, Training Schedule & performance statistics on various fitness test and indicators.
- To discuss and understand the expectations with regard to the achievement in respect of the sport participation at university games.
- Your services will be liable to get transferred within any institutes of SVKM located in India
- In addition to the above, you shall perform such other duties as may be assigned to you by the Central Sports Committee / Principal / Director Sports from time to time.
