**Job Description**:
**Position Summary**:
Perform inspect incoming materials, first pieces, in process and finished goods; maintain appropriate records to comply with company and customer requirement.

**Essential Functions**:

- Receiving inspection of raw materials, repair goods, outside processed material & bought out material.
- Product measurement/inspection and marking them during in process and final stages of manufacturing as applicable.
- Assuring quality parameters are being met as per organisational/customer requirements at all stages of manufacture/repairs.
- Maintaining the calibration status and calibration of measuring instruments, gauges and maintain records.
- Identification and maintaining inspection status of products.
- Identification of non-conforming products/goods with information to QC/ production superiors and raising NCRs.
- Release of products after satisfactory inspection results as per route card/API Requirements.
- Identify the defective parts suitably to prevent unintended use and inform welding/production supervisor for necessary measures.
- Any other related duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.

**Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities**:

- Any degree or diploma certification in mechanical engineering
- 1-3 years of relevant working expereince in Quality Control
- Knowledge on tools and equipment related to oil and gas industry is preferable.
- Basic Understanding on quality aspects and pre/post production inspection of tools is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of engineering tools.
- Knowledge on QMS and ISO 9001 to be added.
