Waiter/waitress

**Job Summary**:The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience for restaurant patrons. This role involves effective communication with customers and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure the efficient flow of service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Guide customers through the menu, providing recommendations and answering questions.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.

**Order Coordination**:Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure accurate and timely preparation.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless coordination of food and drink orders.
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately to customers.

**Table Maintenance**:Set up tables with appropriate utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas.
Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.

**Customer Satisfaction**:Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Anticipate and fulfill customer needs, providing a high level of customer satisfaction.
Handle special requests or dietary restrictions with attention to detail.

**Upselling and Promotion**:Promote daily specials and upsell additional items to increase revenue.
Provide information on beverage options and suggest pairings with menu items.

**Cash Handling**:Process customer payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
Present bills and provide assistance with payment options.

**Adherence to Policies**:Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and hygiene standards.
Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
- Basic math skills for order processing and cash handling.
- Familiarity with food and beverage menu items.

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Evening shift

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Business development: 2 years (preferred)
