Chief Engineer

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role located in Jamnagar for a Chief Engineer - MEO VI. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all engineering systems on board the assigned vessel, including HVAC, hydraulics, electrical systems, main engines, and generators. This will involve liaising with other departments on the vessel, as well as with the shore-based management team.

**Qualifications**
- Must have completed Class VI certificate of competency for Motor Engineer Officer
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same rank on board DP-2 vessels
- Good knowledge of relevant technical aspects of the vessel, including HVAC, hydraulics, electrical systems, main engines, and generators
- Good communication, leadership, and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions in high-pressure situations
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work collaboratively with others
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience working with Indian or Middle Eastern clients is an advantage

**Salary**: From ₹45,000.00 per month
