**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a Performance Tools Architect, you will architect, design, and lead the team to develop, enhance and maintain tools used for collecting, processing & analysing performance data/metrics for IBM's Power Processor based servers. You would work with Performance Analyst in understanding and gathering requirements for tools needed to effectively collect, post process, and analyse performance data/metrics.

As a Performance Tools Architect, you would

Architect & Design tools for performance data collection, post processing and analysis

Gather requirements from Performance Architects and Performance Analyst for tooling requirements

Evaluate and identify the right framework to be used to design/develop these tools

Define Information Architecture and Validation Methodologies for the Performance data/metrics

Provide directions to the team on various performance tools design & development

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- 8+ years of overall IT experience
- Knowledge & experience in defining an Information Architecture, designing & implementation of database or data lake schemas
- Knowledge & experience in developing tools using scripting languages like Python, Perl, Shell script
- Knowledge & experience with web development using languages/frameworks like JavaScript, React, Python, Ruby, PHP
- Knowledge & experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge and experience working on Unix or Linux
- Knowledge of data visualization framework like Matplotlib PyPlot
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming
- Knowledge of System Architecture

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Knowledge and experience in Virtualization Technologies
