Nurse’s in-charge will attend hospital duties on time in clean uniforms.
- To maintain decorum & to see that discipline is maintained in the hospital.
- Ensure all requisite facilities are working satisfactorily in patient rooms.
- Ensure all indoor patients are with ID bands.
- Accompany Consultants /Admitting Doctors on rounds
- To see that Medication and Treatment Sheets are written & maintained.
- To observe and document patient’s response & adaptation to treatment.
- To maintain proper inventory of medicines & consumables in the nursing unit.
- To see that all registers are updated checked and signed.
- To immediately attend to patient’s hospital care needs whenever called, when someone present.
- Indent for medicines & related articles to pharmacy /stores and obtain sanctions.
- To do daily preventive & routine checking of all equipment’s in the nursing unit.
- To making the duties list all staffs and submit to the Nursing head monitor & guide them to perform properly.
- To comply with all hospital infection control practices.
- To check all orders prior to surgery, are carried out and documented. By the Nursing staff.
- To check that OT Clearance is obtained prior to sending patient to OT.
- To super use send & receive items for sterilization to CSSD and maintain proper records.
- To supervise, send and receive linen to laundry and maintain records.
- See that all patient files are updated. Filing of all papers is mandatory.
- In case of break-down of any machinery, instruments, equipment’s/ facilities etc. report to

Immediately to B M Eng. and/or Maintenance dept. and do needful.
- Follow all safety precautions. Document and inform all INCIDENT /SENTINEL (Near Miss) events to authorities immediately.
- To supervise, check BMW disposal is properly done as per guide lines.
- Supervise the nursing care given to the Patient in departments by taking regular round.
- Ensure adequate staff in each shift as per regalement.
- To organize the training, the department and His & BLS for each staff and maintain discipline among nursing personal.
- To conduct the following audits on daily basic infection control practice.

BMW management I/O charts, medication Error, Phlebitis and Communication courtesy of staff.
- To monthly check the all, check list (ex. O2, ECG, Debit, Crash cart, Pt. Safety check list, spillage check list, sub store and High risk medicine check list)
- To monthly reporting the quality indicators, incident reports QAP. NSL, ADR, B/O transfusion & reaction to quality dept.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
