**Essential Qualification**

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Physical Education & Sports Science or related fields.

NIS Diploma in Sports Science or Certification from the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) or other recognized Indian Taekwondo bodies.

Prior coaching experience mandatory.

**Desired Qualification**

Extensive Competition Experience: Proven track record of success in national-level Taekwondo competitions in India.

Experience with Youth Development: Demonstrated experience working with children and youth, particularly in school or community sports programs.

Event Management Skills: Proven ability to organize and manage Taekwondo events and belt testing.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

Develop and Implement Training Programs**:Design and execute comprehensive Taekwondo training routines tailored to different skill levels and age groups, ensuring balanced development in techniques, strength, and endurance.

Teach Taekwondo Techniques**:Instruct students in various Taekwondo techniques, including kicks, punches, blocks, and forms (poomsae). Emphasize proper form, precision, and execution.

Observe and Correct**:Monitor participants during practice sessions to identify areas for improvement. Provide individualized feedback and corrective measures to enhance performance and prevent injuries.

Competition Preparation**:Prepare students for local, regional, and national competitions. Organize and conduct sparring sessions, simulate competition scenarios, and develop strategies for success.

Physical Conditioning**:Incorporate strength, conditioning, and flexibility exercises into the training regimen to improve overall physical fitness and performance in Taekwondo.

Safety and First Aid**:Ensure a safe training environment by teaching and enforcing safety rules. Administer first aid, manage minor injuries, and coordinate medical attention when necessary.

Progress Monitoring and Adaptation**:Track students' progress and adapt training programs to meet their evolving needs and goals. Provide regular assessments and feedback to help students achieve their full potential.

Mentorship and Motivation**:Serve as a mentor and role model, fostering a positive and motivating atmosphere. Encourage students to set and achieve personal and competitive goals.

Conduct Workshops and Seminars**:Organize and lead workshops, seminars, and special training sessions on various aspects of Taekwondo, such as advanced techniques, self-defense, and mental discipline.

**Key Skills (mandatory)**

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Taekwondo techniques, forms, sparring, and self-defense.

Computer Literacy: Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks such as maintaining student records and organizing schedules.

Effective Communication: Clear communication skills to instruct and provide feedback to students of all ages and skill levels.

Adaptability: Capability to tailor training programs to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.

We are looking for an experienced Taekwondo coach to lead and inspire our students.

The coach will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored training programs, teaching fundamental and advanced techniques, and preparing students for competitions.

Key duties include monitoring progress, providing corrective feedback, ensuring safety, and administering first aid when necessary.
