**Position: IT/System Officer**
**Supervisors Position: Service Delivery Manager**
**Position Overview**:
This role demands planning, organizing, and supporting users and overall Branch/Factory operations to ensure the stable operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support users in terms of Software, Hardware and any other systems, related to Britannia.
- Co-ordinate with EO, Branch offices, L1, L2 support of OEM and vendors for any break fixes for software and Hardware.
- Organize / attend meetings with support vendors as and when required and escalate issues to next level if not resolved.
- Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures.
- Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, and so on.
- Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
- Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
- Practice IT asset management, including maintenance of component inventory and related documentation.
- Direct and administrate a contingent of network analysts and technicians, and where necessary, conduct performance reviews and corrective action.
- Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services.
**Education**:BTech/Mtech/BCA/MCA
**Experience**:3 to 4 years’ experience managing infrastructure and operational excellence.
**Competencies**:
- Ability to make sound and logical judgments
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Able to conduct research into issues and products as required
- Strong customer service orientation
- Attention to detail.
