Job Description: IT Incharge (BSc IT) with School Working Experience

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Incharge with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSc IT) OR BCA and a background in working within a school environment. The IT Incharge will be responsible for overseeing and managing the school's information technology systems, networks, and infrastructure. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Technical Management:

- Manage and maintain the school's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
- Ensure the availability, security, and optimal performance of IT systems, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operation of IT services and systems.

2. Systems Administration:

- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and platforms.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.

3. Network Management:

- Design, configure, and manage the school's network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize network resources for seamless communication.

4. Help Desk Support:

- Provide technical assistance to staff and students by addressing IT-related queries, troubleshooting problems, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a ticketing system to track and document support requests, resolutions, and user interactions.

5. Software and Application Management:

- Ensure software licenses are up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.

6. IT Security:

- Implement and enforce security measures to protect the school's IT infrastructure from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks.

7. Training and Documentation:

- Create and maintain documentation, manuals, and guides for IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

8. Budgeting and Procurement:

- Collaborate with school management to develop IT budgets, forecast technology needs, and plan for hardware and software procurement.
- Source and evaluate IT equipment, negotiate with vendors, and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSc IT)OR BCA or related field.
- Proven experience working in an IT role within an educational institution, preferably a school.
- Strong knowledge of network administration, system maintenance, and IT security practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Familiarity with educational software and learning management systems is a plus.

Leadership abilities to manage a small IT team, if applicable.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
