Job Summary: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations within a hotel or resort. This role involves ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and the overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The Executive Housekeeper is expected to lead and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficient operations.

**Team Leadership**:Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping team, including room attendants, housekeepers, laundry staff, and other related personnel.
Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance.

**Housekeeping Operations**:Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, linen changes, and public area maintenance, while ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
Maintain par stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff to ensure efficient coverage and productivity.

**Quality Control**:Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet established cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Address any deficiencies and work with maintenance to ensure prompt repairs and maintenance.

**Guest Satisfaction**:Ensure guest rooms and public areas are prepared according to established standards before guest arrival.
Handle guest complaints or concerns related to housekeeping, and take appropriate action to resolve issues.

**Inventory Management**:Maintain accurate records of linen inventory, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
Coordinate with the purchasing department to order necessary supplies and equipment.

**Budget Management**:Assist in the preparation of the housekeeping budget and monitor expenses to ensure they stay within budgetary guidelines.

**Health and Safety**:Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines in housekeeping operations.
Train staff on safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

**Training and Development**:Organize and conduct ongoing training programs for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Implement best practices and new techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness of housekeeping operations.

**Communication**:Maintain open and effective communication with other departments, particularly Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

**Reporting**:Prepare regular reports on housekeeping operations, including occupancy rates, staff performance, and maintenance issues, for presentation to upper management.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in housekeeping operations, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
