- We are looking for a Claims Specialist. In this position responsible for activities related to analysing, resolving and settling customer trade and price claims. The Claims Specialist role is to resolve and respond to Customer’s Claims / Deductions in a timely and professional manner. The general purpose of this role is to investigate, evaluate and conclude whether the deduction taken by the customer is a valid or invalid one._
- Role and Responsibilities:_
- _Accurate and timely claim investigation - identifying the relevant documentation to conduct claim investigation for each claim type and sourcing through the right systems/channels_
- _Escalation (to Collections) of invalid claims, that translate into collectable amounts_
- _Proactively flag accrual gaps in SAP rebate agreements_
- _Assist automated claim registration and validation; manually process claims (including collating back-up documentation) in case of tool absence or failure_
- _Triger approval workflows as per claim status and follow-up if necessary_
- _Trigger resolution workflows to corresponding parties if resolution is not automated_
- _Send customer resolution communication along with necessary documentation_
- _Resolve Claims / Deductions within TAT_
- _Follow defined critical issue matrix and raise alert whenever required_
- _Maintain regular contact with Finance, Sales and local Operations to resolve disputes and recovery of invalid claims_
- _Support initiatives related to process and technology to drive best in class_
- _Follow-up with various departments to get supporting documents/ info for dispute/deductions resolution_
- _Responsible for maintaining overall deductions balance targets as required by the organization_
- _Understanding of business & local market specifics when applicable._

- Minimum qualifications_
- _Any Graduate / preferably B.Com or Accounting_
- _Flexibility to work in any shift_
- _English level B2_
- _Strong analytical skills and attention to detail_
- _Should come with experience in Disputes Management and must have overall Bill to Cash knowledge and understanding_
- _Ability to identify issues proactively and troubleshoot in a timely manner._
- _Excellent communication, Influencing, Interpersonal skills_
- _Experience in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Power Point and MS Teams; advanced Excel skills, automated deduction tools (preferable)_
- _Customer Centric Mindset, Ability to challenge status quo and being proactive_
- _Self-motivated and independent personality with strong problem-solving skills as well as a strongly developed proposal thinking mindset_

- Preferred qualifications_
- _Experience in customer business and trade term tools (e.g., ACTPM CBP, Anaplan, SAP)_
- _Exposure to consumer goods industry and retail promotions_
- _Understands digital concepts and can identify opportunities to drive efficiency and improvements._
- _Exposure to technologies like Pega, SAP, HighRadius_
- _Accounting skills including Budgeting, Forecasting and Reconciliations_
- _Knowledge of all different types of claims and deductions like OS&D (Overage, Shortage and Damage), Pricing, Coupon Deductions, Promo, etc._
- _Understanding of business and local market specifics when applicable_
