**Job Description**:
The PCM is responsible for the component project tasks regarding time/quality/cost. The PCM reports the progress of the component project, especially in case of deviations of the targets to PjM and TPM. The PCM involves expert teams as needed PCM supports PjM/TPM in customer meetings if necessary.

Experience 6 - 8 years

**Key tasks & responsibilities**:

- Define detailed project schedule at component level
- Handling of technical requests.
- Organize and moderate the PCMe.
- Set-up the Project Management Plan of the Component Project if not included in project PMP
- Plan project costs, setup, maintain and track Development Orders (DO/EA) for components.
- Ensure the fulfilment of project targets on component level and report status on adequate level.
- Track the component development schedule (compatible with project milestones; actual vs. plan).
- Ensure customer sample quality and timing
- Manage component requirements
- Ensure process compliance.
- Select and manage suppliers
- Perform Risk Management. on component level

**Qualifications**:
BE / BTech / ME / Mtech
**Experience**
- Experienced in software development and design (using Embedded C/Matlab/Other modeling tools)
- Experience in concurrently handling multiple projects. Should have at least 1-3 years of prior experience as Project Manager
- Strong process management, project management, stakeholder management, requirement management and team handling skills
- Willingness to provide hands on guidance to the project teams as part of steering the projects forward
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills is a must
- Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset
- Experience in working with International /Inter-Cultural teams
- Hands on experience in Project Management Tools (Scheduling, Defect Tracking, Metrics,Risk)
- Ability to understand and take decision on technical proposals
- Good knowledge of CMMI / ISO /ASPICE quality standard
- Knowledge of Eclipse development environment
- Experience in using Change management and version management tools (like Rational ClearQuest, SVN, DOORS, Clear Case etc)

What is ADAS?
Advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), are electronic systems that help the vehicle driver while driving or during parking. When designed with a safe human-machine interface, they are intended to increase car safety and more generally road safety.
Most road accidents occur due to human error. Advanced driver-assistance systems are systems developed to automate, adapt and enhance vehicle systems for safety and better driving. The automated system which is provided by ADAS to the vehicle is proven to reduce road fatalities, by minimizing the human error. Safety features are designed to avoid collisions and accidents by offering technologies that alert the driver to potential problems, or to avoid collisions by implementing safeguards and taking over control of the vehicle.
