Snowflake DBA Admin:
Description:
Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Gurgram

Job Responsibilities of Snowflake DBA with 4+ Years experience as

Database Administration: Manage and administer Snowflake databases ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and availability.

Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security measures, including user access controls, data encryption, and auditing, to ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations such as HIPAA.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune Snowflake database performance, including query optimization, index creation, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Data Integration: Develop and maintain data integration processes, including ETL pipelines, to ingest and transform healthcare data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Backup and Recovery: Establish and maintain backup and recovery strategies, including leveraging Snowflake's Time Travel and Fail-Safe features, to enable data recovery and minimize downtime in case of system failures or data loss.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring knowledge sharing and smooth knowledge transfer within the team.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the healthcare industry, and assess their impact on Snowflake and data management practices in the healthcare domain.

Cost Optimization: Work towards optimizing cloud resource utilization, analyzing cost patterns, and implementing cost-saving strategies in collaboration with cloud architects and finance teams.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with other Snowflake DBAs and cloud specialists to drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of learning within the healthcare organization.

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Leverage AWS and GCP cloud services to architect, deploy, and manage Snowflake data warehouse solutions in a healthcare cloud environment, ensuring scalability, high availability, and cost optimization.

Cloud Integration and Migration: Collaborate with cloud architects and teams to integrate Snowflake with other healthcare cloud services and migrate on-premises data to the cloud, ensuring smooth and efficient data transfer while maintaining data integrity.

Cost Optimization: Optimize Snowflake's cloud resources and configurations to minimize costs, implement resource tagging, and provide recommendations for cost-effective utilization of healthcare data analytics workloads.

SnowPro Certification: Obtain and maintain Snowflake's SnowPro certification, staying updated with the latest Snowflake features, best practices, and healthcare-specific use cases, and leverage that knowledge to enhance data management and analytics capabilities in the healthcare domain.

Pay: ₹431,232.17 - ₹1,601,934.68 per year
