We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cyber Security Mentor to join our team and guide students on their path to becoming proficient in cyber security.

**Position Overview**: As a Cyber Security Mentor, you will play a vital role in our educational programs by providing guidance, support, and instruction to students learning cyber security. Your expertise and mentorship will help them understand complex security concepts, develop practical skills, and prepare for careers in the industry. This role requires excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of cyber security, and a passion for teaching.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to students learning cyber security.
- Assist students with understanding course material, including network security, encryption, threat analysis, and incident response.
- Review and provide feedback on students' projects and assignments.
- Conduct live coding sessions, tutorials, and simulations of security incidents.
- Help students prepare for cyber security certifications and job interviews.
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cyber security.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in the field of cyber security.
- Strong knowledge of security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, VPNs, encryption).
- Experience with network security, ethical hacking, and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others learn and succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
- Experience with additional programming or scripting languages.
- Previous experience in curriculum development.
