: As the Raw Material Incharge for a cosmetics manufacturing plant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability, quality, and timely procurement of raw materials required for the production of cosmetics. You will be responsible for managing the entire raw material supply chain, including sourcing, inventory management, quality control, and vendor relationships. Your objective will be to maintain a seamless flow of raw materials to support the production schedule and meet the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Raw Material Sourcing and Procurement:
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliable supply.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to determine the required quantity and specifications of raw materials.

Place purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials.

Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.

Inventory Management:
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and create replenishment plans accordingly.

Coordinate with production and planning teams to align raw material availability with production schedules.

Conduct regular stock checks, manage stock rotation, and ensure proper storage conditions to prevent spoilage or wastage.

Quality Control:
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain strict quality control standards for raw materials.

Conduct quality inspections of incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with specifications and safety requirements.

Address any quality issues or non-conformances and work with suppliers to resolve them promptly.

Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes and records.

Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with raw material suppliers.

Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and audits to assess their reliability, quality, and compliance.

Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve supplier performance and drive cost savings initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards for raw materials.

Work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team to review and approve raw material specifications and documentation.

Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on raw material procurement, inventory levels, and supplier performance.

Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documents.

Provide data and insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. A higher degree would be advantageous.
- Proven experience in raw material procurement, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in the cosmetics or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge of raw materials used in cosmetics manufacturing and their quality standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for cosmetics or related products.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

**Salary**: From ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sonipat, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
