The Shift Incharge in the production department is responsible for leading and supervising the operations of a specific shift. This role involves managing a team of production workers, overseeing the pig iron, alloy steel production processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Shift Incharge plays a key role in maintaining a smooth production workflow and achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:

- Lead and supervise a team of production workers during the assigned shift.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

2. Shift Operations:

- Oversee the alloy steel production processes, including melting, blending, and casting,

during the assigned shift.
- Monitor production parameters and make adjustments as needed to meet quality and

quantity targets.
- Should be able to control/observe the raw material yard, material feeding, finished

good yard, ladle digging and tapping etc.
- Should be able to control one shift properly.

3. Quality Assurance:

- Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure that steel meet established quality standards.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality deviations.

4. Safety Compliance:

- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines during the shift.
- To liaise with the Mechanical & Electrical shift Incharge if there is any problem with

the equipments.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and audits to maintain a safe working environment.

5. Communication:

- Maintain effective communication with the management, team members, Forklift Operators, Tapper, other shift leaders, and labours engaged in a shift.
- Log and report all activities, incidents, and shift handovers accurately.

6. Problem Resolution:

- Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise during the shift.
- Collaborate with maintenance and other relevant departments to ensure timely solutions.

7. Training and Development:

- Identify training needs within the team and coordinate with the training department to

address skill gaps.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

8. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate records of shift operations, production data, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Provide reports to management as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
