Ariba System Architect

**What you’ll do**:
They will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution.
- Finally, the System Architect will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions that are aligned to the broader architecture guardrails."
- "- Lead and participate in the planning, definition, development, and high-level design of complex product solutions and architectural alternatives- Translate buisness requirements into technical designs that aling with prodcut centric organizational goals
- Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines
- Define and communicate Ariba, ERP & Tax Engine interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches
- Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements
- Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordingly
- Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt events
- Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomes
- Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation
- Effectively negotiate with the business to ensure nonfunctional work (e.g. patching, platform upgrade etc.) is properly prioritized and worked on to reduce the accumulation of technical debt over time
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for the Ariba platform that drive adoption, maximize efficiency and increase custoner satisfaction."

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutution
8+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products

**Skills**:

- "- Extensive experience utilizing best practices in software engineering- Expert level understanding of SAP Ariba Spend Management suite funtionality along with integration to multiple finacial operating systems, programming languages and their associated development platforms
- Expert level skills in Java, C#, C++ (or other languages and/or technologies as necessary) and associated IDE’s (Visual Studio, Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.)
- Expert level understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
- Expert level understanding of DevSecOps, CI, and CD principles from code check-in through to deployment
- Extensive experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
- Solid understanding and proven usage of cybersecurity concepts such as encryption, hashing, certificates, PKIs, Threat Modeling, secure coding, and OWASP.
- Extensive experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
- Experience with multiple cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP. Certification is a plus
- Expereince with Tax Engine integration
- Expereince with SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) and Buisness Technology Platform ,SAP BTP"
