Zoho Books Expert - Bookkeeping & Invoicing
Position: Zoho Books Specialist
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Remote/Bangalore
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with Zoho Books and bookkeeping
Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping & Financial Management
○ Maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books.
○ Record and reconcile daily transactions, including payments, receipts, and bank
statements.
○ Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Invoicing & Billing
○ Generate, send, and manage invoices using Zoho Books.
○ Track invoice payments and follow up on overdue payments.
○ Ensure GST compliance and generate GST-compliant invoices.
- Reporting & Compliance
○ Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance
sheets.
○ Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., GST
in India).
○ Support in generating e-invoices as per GST requirements.
- Process Optimization
○ Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes using Zoho Books'
advanced features.
○ Train team members on Zoho Books functionalities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Zoho Books and its features.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in managing GST, e-invoicing, and compliance requirements (preferred).
- Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with startups or SMBs.
- Knowledge of Zoho’s broader ecosystem (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Expense) is a plus.
- Certification in accounting or finance is desirable but not mandatory.
