The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and servicing air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. They ensure that AC units operate efficiently and provide optimal cooling and climate control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, including outdoor condensing units, indoor air handlers, ductwork, and associated components according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks on existing AC systems, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
- Repairs: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in AC systems, including compressors, fans, thermostats, and electrical components. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to refrigerant leaks, airflow problems, and system failures.
- Service Calls: Respond to service calls from customers, assess the issues, and provide appropriate solutions, whether it involves repairs, replacements, or adjustments.
- System Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of AC systems to identify potential problems, assess performance, and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities, as well as update equipment histories and warranties.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues in clear terms, offering professional recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure that all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, techniques, and best practices in the HVAC industry through ongoing training and professional development.
Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
