**_Process Associate, Underwriting - Insurance
- Location Badshahpur, Gurgaon_**

**_
- **

**_ One should have a background of Underwriting Operations Insurance._**

**_ _**

**_ Thoroughly review incoming requests and policy issuance information for completeness. Record and refer those that are outside the guidelines to the underwriting department for approval._**

**_ _**

**_ Provide quality control and assembly for all types of policies and endorsements generated by the business unit._**

**_ _**

**_ Ensure that turnaround time and quality of documents meets Company service standards_**

**_ _**

**_ Provide customer service to underwriters, operations staff across the country(s) and other functions within Travelers. Contact internal resources to research and resolve issues_**

**_ _**

**_ Take ownership for work-in-progress issues as an individual and team member by continuously looking for ways to improve/streamline work and procedures, which increase the efficiency of the team._**

**_ _**

**_ Manage own work in process and support team efforts to ensure that individual, team and office goals are met of performing quality audits_**

**_ _**

**_ Should be responsible for weekly/monthly reporting to both internal management and client stakeholders_**

**_

**_ Responsibilities_**

- **_Drive service level targets. _**

**_ _**
- **_Thoroughly review submission requests to identify / validate submission vs referral. _**_Record and refer those that are outside the guidelines to the underwriting department for approval._**

**_ _**
- **_Register only new business submission directed to underwriter/designated mailbox. & update all relevant information in the system._**

**_ _**
- **_Ensure that turnaround time and quality of documents meets Company service standards_**

**_ _**
- **_Once the registration is completed, submission is released to designated Underwriter._**

**_ _**
- **_Manage and maintain records including correspondence and data files_**

**_
- **

**_ Qualifications - Minimum qualifications_**

- **
- **_Any Graduate_**

**_ _**
- **_Good comprehension_**

**_ _**
- **_Communication - Written and spoken _**
- **_Excel Skills - Intermediate. Proficient_**

**_ _**
- **_Fluent in English language - both Written and Oral_**

- **_Good knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel_**
