**Job Summary**:
**We are seeking a talented and highly motivated English Content Writer to join our content creation team. As an English Content Writer, you will be responsible for producing engaging and creative content for our shorts and reels platform. You should have a deep knowledge of grammar, possess excellent spoken English skills, and demonstrate a strong command of vocabulary. Your primary focus will be to craft innovative and captivating content that resonates with our target audience. In addition, attending team meetings and collaborating with other creatives is an essential part of this role.**

**Responsibilities**:
Compelling Content Creation:

- Develop original written content specifically tailored for the shorts and reels platform. For example, create attention-grabbing captions and scripts for short videos that effectively convey the message within a limited timeframe.
- Produce meticulously crafted content demonstrating exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation. For instance, write flawless blog articles on various topics, showcasing impeccable grammar and punctuation throughout.
- Craft concise and captivating scripts, dialogues, captions, and other forms of content. As an example, create engaging dialogues for educational videos that simplify complex concepts and make learning enjoyable.

Exam Orientation and Competitive Exam Approach:

- Develop study guides and practice materials that focus on the specific language skills required for competitive exams.
- Incorporate strategies, tips, and techniques to help learners excel in competitive exams requiring English proficiency. For example, share effective time management techniques for the reading section of English language exams, ensuring students optimize their performance.
- Provide insights and guidance on exam-specific language skills and requirements. For instance, explain the nuances of formal writing and provide sample essays with sophisticated vocabulary for students preparing for academic writing exams.

Research and Understanding:

- Conduct comprehensive research to gain a profound understanding of various topics and ensure content accuracy. For example, investigate current trends in language learning and incorporate the latest research findings into content creation.
- Utilize their vocabulary knowledge and innovative approach to writing to create engaging narratives. For instance, develop storytelling techniques that employ vivid vocabulary and evocative descriptions to captivate readers in articles and blog posts.

Collaboration and Ideation:

- Collaborate closely with the content creation team to brainstorm ideas, conceptualize content, and generate fresh approaches. For example, participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative content ideas, such as interactive quizzes or language learning challenges.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and providing constructive feedback to fellow team members. For instance, offer valuable feedback on colleagues' content drafts, suggesting improvements to enhance clarity and impact.

Adaptation and Optimization:

- Adapt content to suit different platforms and effectively target diverse audience demographics. For example, tailor content for specific social media platforms, such as creating punchy headlines for Twitter or informative captions for Instagram.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate them into the content creation process. For instance, monitor emerging language learning apps or techniques and integrate them into blog articles reviewing innovative language learning tools.

Deadline Management:

- Maintain strict adherence to deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects concurrently. For example, create a content calendar to track project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of articles, videos, and other content pieces.

**Qualifications**:
Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role.
- Experience teaching spoken English at the British School of Language is strongly preferred.

Language Skills:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Profound knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and an extensive vocabulary. Example: Demonstrate innovative approaches to vocabulary and grammar usage. For instance, adeptly employ an array of synonyms, idioms, and jargon to add flair and precision to the content. Instead of using the word "good," consider using alternatives such as "excellent," "superb," or "stellar" to elevate the quality of the writing.
