Full-Time (Pune ) 1-4 Experience

Avegen is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate who has a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. He/she must be passionate about quality and user experience and have a strong understanding of the healthcare implications of the products. He/she would be the custodian of the product quality & experience, and the one who inspires others to never settle for anything less than awesome.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review product requirements, specifications and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback to squads and customers.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects.
- Review the products from Software as a Medical Device (SAMD) perspective, review how the product can impact the health of an end-user/patient.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement
- solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Communicate with the client as and when required.

**Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Aptitude to pick up new technology and tools.
- Understanding the product development life-cycle and the customer requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Agile mindset with the capacity to iterate quickly.

**Educational Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably biomedical engineering or
- BDS, MRes, BPH/MPH, MSc or other relevant degree related to medicine, research or biology who are willing to shift careers.
- Additional business degree/Certification in Agile or Scrum preferred
