**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plant Cultivation**: Oversee the cultivation and harvesting of botanicals and herbs used in our product formulations, ensuring optimal growing conditions and sustainable farming practices.
- **Ingredient Extraction**: Develop and implement extraction processes to obtain high-quality botanical extracts and essential oils, maximizing potency and efficacy while minimizing environmental impact.
- **Formulation Development**: Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate botanical extracts into product formulations, leveraging your expertise to create innovative, chemical-free hair colors and care products.
- **Quality Control**: Establish and maintain rigorous quality control protocols for botanical ingredients, ensuring purity, potency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- **Sustainability Initiatives**: Drive initiatives to enhance sustainability across the supply chain, from sourcing and cultivation to packaging and waste management, in alignment with company values and industry best practices.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, offering guidance on botanical ingredients, processing techniques, and product development strategies.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards governing the use of botanicals and natural ingredients in cosmetics, ensuring that all products meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and cost efficiencies, driving continuous improvement in product quality and performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Botany, Plant Sciences, Herbal Medicine, or a related field.
- years of experience in botanical research, plant cultivation, or plant-based product development, preferably within the cosmetics or personal care industry.
- Expertise in the identification, cultivation, and extraction of botanicals and herbs, with a strong understanding of their chemical composition and therapeutic properties.
- Familiarity with sustainable farming practices, organic certification standards, and fair trade principles.
- Knowledge of formulation techniques and product development processes, particularly in the realm of chemical-free hair colors and natural hair care products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret scientific data and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to sustainability, ethics, and environmental stewardship, with a passion for creating products that promote health, wellness, and sustainability.
