Job Title: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Biology

1. Preparing and teaching of lessons as set out in the curriculum, setting the assessment tasks and marking students' work

2. Ensure the achievement of learning objectives content wise.

3. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, student academic progress and personal management skills

4. Regularly conduct class assessment: paper pen test or oral questions. Based on the performance in the assessment provide the remedial classes and ensure the complete achievement in the further assessments.

5. Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere.

7. Monitoring student’s progress weekly and submitting weekly report -academic performance to the principal.

8. Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement/need arises.

9. Attending the Staff meetings, other school related events, webinars, conferences etc on time.

11. Assisting the Head of Department in curriculum organization

12. Completing other duties as required by the Principal

13. Prepare and submit the question papers for all the assessments and term tests.

14. Prepare and submit the lesson plans, annual plan and weekly plan in the school well in time.

Qualifications:

- Postgraduate degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Biology or a related field.
- B.Ed. is required.
- Prior teaching experience at the secondary or higher secondary level is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of biological concepts, theories, and principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and motivating students to excel academically.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and educational resources to enhance learning outcomes.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
