Xstore - Tester

Our forward-thinking company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Xstore - Tester. **Key Responsibilities**:
As the Xstore - Tester, your main responsibilities will include:

- Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the Xstore retail platform.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies.
- Working closely with the development and support teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
- Utilising automated testing tools to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
- Providing detailed test reports and recommendations for improvements based on test results.
- Participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging testing practices and tools.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Strong understanding of test methodologies, test processes, and experience with automated testing tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management for testing purposes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with bug tracking tools and test management software.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

**Desirable Attributes**:

- Experience with Xstore platform or other retail management software.
- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience working in a multinational company and comfort working across different time zones.
