- 1. Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure- 2. Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes- 3. Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results- 4. Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats- 5. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes- 6. Working with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended- 7. Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions- 8. Deploy updates and fixes and Provide Level 2 technical support- 9. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience- 10. Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems- 11. Perform root cause analysis for production errors and investigate and resolve technical issues- 12. Develop scripts to automate visualization- 13. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- 1. Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role- 2. Proficient with git and git workflows- 3. Good knowledge of Shell scripting, Ruby, or Python- 4. Working knowledge of databases and SQL- 5. Problem-solving attitude- 6. Collaborative team spirit-
- 8. Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub actions, Code Pipeline.- 9. Expertise working with at least one cloud service provider like AWS/GCP or Azure.-
