Position: Music Teacher

Job Summary:
SGIS, Kolhapur seeks an experienced Music Teacher to inspire and develop students’ musical talents. The role involves teaching music theory, history, and practical skills, organizing musical performances, and directing school choirs and bands.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum.

Teach music theory, history, and practical skills.

Assess students’ musical progress and provide feedback.

Organize and direct school musical ensembles and performances.

Mentor students and foster a love for music.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Music Education or related field.

Valid teaching certification.

2-3 years of music teaching experience.

Proficiency in multiple musical instruments.

Strong knowledge of music theory and performance techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience directing school choirs, bands, or orchestras.

Knowledge of music technology and digital music production.
