**POSITION STATEMENT**

Ensuring that every detail of a customers’ booking have been accurately recorded in the system and the selling of guest rooms while accommodating guest needs and maximizing revenue. Also, ensure dedication to the conversion of all room sales enquiries through excellent customer service and efficient use of the reservations systems. In particular, this position contributes to the maximization of RevPar and Group-booking management, while ensuring guests receive optimum service in accordance with the Brand Standards and hotel policies and Hilton.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Contribute in creating a team that provides an exceptional product with exceptional service flexibility and consistency to our customers
- Participate in an environment of learning, enjoyment and involvement feeling free to contribute towards equilibrium and creating “Hilton Moments”
- Positive involvement and interaction with the overall Hilton team both at an individual and team level.
- To work with a sales focused attitude and be aware of sales opportunities within the hotel, which will assist, with the maximization of revenue and Group inventory management
- Resolve queries from other departments regarding chargeback authorities and payment follow-ups
- Collaborate well with Sales, Finance and Operations to execute group accommodations requirements
- Good understanding of the process of travel agent and corporate segments bookings
- Adhere to hotel selling strategy by ensuring the use of **OnQ R&I, and PMS Rate Control system**:

- Able to use knowledge of the hotel, its features, benefits and surroundings in order to be able to effectively advise guests on additional products and services
- To deliver consistently high standards of customer service
- Ensure that a consistently high standard of personal presentation is maintained
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and local area
- Be guest focused at all times
- Strive to create unique and memorable customer experiences
- To know who our customers are and provide them with the product and service they expect
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
- To be aware of room revenue targets and to strive to help the department to achieve them.
- Increase revenue at point of sale by using suggestive selling and up selling techniques.
- Attend regular communication meetings within all areas of Reservations.
- Actively develop skills and performance through coaching and training.
- Ensure communication between Reservations and all other areas of the hotel is professional, efficient and thorough.
- Be fully aware of the benefits of the loyalty program, Hilton Honors, and able to promote to guest
- Ensure all Honors members receive the benefits, which they are entitled to
- Ensure all equipment required in the department is maintained to a high level that allows efficient working procedures.
- Any other duties assigned by the Reservations Manager or Commercial Director.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area and hotel environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
- Assist reservations office in any other administrative duties as needed.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Attend training and meeting as required.
- To be motivated and committed, approaching all tasks with enthusiasm and seizing opportunities to learn new skills or knowledge in order to improve your personal performance.

- Familiar with hotel reservation systems.
- Familiar with hotel product and hotel rules & regulations (including emergency procedures).
- Fluent in both verbal and written English and Chinese to meet business needs.
- Good at operating office machines.
- Sense of responsibility and professionalism.
- Responsible and reliable.
- Takes initiative.
- Basic managing skill.
