Compensation range:
$48.32 - $66.89
Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience
Shift: Nights Shift length: 12 Hours
Days off: Variable Sign-on bonus: Up to $3,000

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of Enloe Medical Center. The Registered Nurse prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
Must have one of the following:
One year acute nursing experience
Completion of Rural Health Preceptorship or equivalent in a NICU, Nursery or Perinatal
setting.
Completion of one year experience as a Nursing Assistant or Student Extern in a Perinatal
setting.
ERN Training, Competence Validation and Annual ERN Education Hours - Completion within 12
months of Hire and thereafter maintain as current (Full Time and Part Time staff only)
Specific to transporting via helicopter:
Five years of Special Care Nursery RN experience
Must meet physical requirements per the Enloe Flight Crew Weight Limitations policy
Desired:
One year clinical experience in a Special Care Nursery or NICU Unit
One year clinical experience in Critical Care
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
Current CPR recognition
NRP certification within one month of hire
STABLE certification within 12 months of hire (dept tracks)
Specific to Relief Charge Nurse:
Must obtain PALS within 6 months of relief charge role (dept tracks)
Desired:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
NRP certification upon hire
STABLE certification upon hire
National Certification in Low Risk Neonatal Nursing or Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NCC)
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must demonstrate technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills and sensitivity for the patient and family in crisis. Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
