Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative young event planner to join our team. As an event planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing a variety of events, ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Coordination:

- Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish, ensuring all details are meticulously handled.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Source and liaise with vendors, including venues, caterers, decorators, entertainers, and technical support, to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure the best possible deals for clients.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, timelines, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.

2. Creative Conceptualization:

- Develop creative event concepts and themes that align with client objectives and target audience preferences.
- Design event layouts, décor schemes, and ambiance to create memorable experiences for attendees.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and marketing teams to create promotional materials, invitations, and signage for events.

3. Budget Management:

- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring expenditures stay within budgetary constraints.
- Track expenses, review invoices, and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial management of events.

4. On-site Event Management:

- Oversee event setup, including décor arrangement, audiovisual setup, and catering arrangements.
- Coordinate event staff, including servers, ushers, and technical support, to ensure smooth event operations.
- Address any issues or emergencies that may arise during events, implementing quick and effective solutions to mitigate disruptions.

5. Client Communication:

- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on event planning progress and address any concerns or changes in requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clients' needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in event planning or coordination is advantageous but not required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Creative flair and the ability to conceptualize unique event ideas and themes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
