**JOB DISCRIPTION**

**Position: Sales Promoter**

**Location**: Lucknow

**Position Type**: Full-Time

**Overview**: The Food Sales promoter plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth within the food sector, overseeing a dedicated team of sales representatives, and fostering relationships with key clients and partners. This position requires a deep understanding of the food industry, strategic sales acumen, and strong leadership capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Team Leadership & Development**: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of food sales representatives.
- Set clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.

2. **Strategic Sales Planning**:

- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the food industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to refine sales approaches.

3. **Client Relationship Management**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms of sale.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention.

4. **Sales Management & Reporting**:

- Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to optimize sales initiatives.

5. **Product Knowledge & Promotion**:

- Stay abreast of industry trends, new product launches, and regulatory changes.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional campaigns, product launches, and sales materials.

6. **Budget Management**:

- Develop and oversee the sales department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenses, analyze ROI, and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ Years of experience in flavour sales or a sales related role, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the food industry, market dynamics, and consumer trends.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
