**Responsibilities**:

- Provide virtual counselling sessions to students enrolled in our EdTech platform, addressing a range of mental health concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, academic pressure, and interpersonal relationships.
- Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized counselling plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate emotional regulation, coping skills, and resilience-building strategies.
- Collaborate with educators and other support staff to identify students in need of psychological support and implement proactive interventions.
- Offer crisis intervention and suicide prevention support as needed, adhering to ethical guidelines and best practices.
- Develop and facilitate psychoeducational workshops, webinars, and resources on topics related to mental health, self-care, and academic success.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Stay abreast of current research, trends, and developments in the field of mental health and education, integrating findings into counselling practices and program development.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including supervision, training, and peer consultation.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of our EdTech platform by providing insights and feedback on features related to mental health and well-being.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a counselor, therapist, or psychologist (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing counseling services to adolescents or young adults, preferably in an educational or virtual setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Proficient in delivering virtual counseling sessions via video conferencing platforms and maintaining confidentiality in online environments.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence in working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in counseling practice.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience using teletherapy platforms and digital tools for mental health support.
- Specialization or training in areas such as mindfulness-based interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
- Familiarity with educational technology, learning management systems (LMS), and digital interventions for mental health promotion.
