**Position Title**: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - Geography
- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**: Design and deliver comprehensive geography lessons for students at the secondary level (typically grades 9-12), ensuring alignment with curriculum standards, learning objectives, and assessment criteria.
- **Instruction**: Conduct engaging and interactive geography classes that promote spatial awareness, critical thinking, and geographic literacy, utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and instructional technologies.
- **Fieldwork and Practical Application**: Organize and supervise field trips, outdoor excursions, and geographic investigations to enhance students' understanding of geographical concepts and processes, facilitating hands-on learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Develop and administer assessments (including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations) to evaluate student comprehension and mastery of geographic content, providing constructive feedback and support for student growth and improvement.
- **Individualized Support**: Provide additional assistance and guidance to students who require remediation or enrichment in geography, offering tutoring sessions, review sessions, and personalized learning opportunities tailored to meet individual learning needs.
- **Curriculum Enhancement**: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the school's geography curriculum, including the creation of lesson plans, instructional materials, and supplementary resources to engage students and promote deeper understanding of geographical concepts and issues.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with developments in the field of geography education, participating in workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and instructional effectiveness.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with colleagues, department members, and school administrators to coordinate instructional activities, share resources, and support the overall goals of the geography department and school community.
- **Parent Communication**: Maintain open and regular communication with parents or guardians regarding students' progress, performance, and participation in geography class, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- **Extracurricular Involvement**: Participate in extracurricular activities related to geography, such as geography clubs, competitions, or environmental initiatives, to foster students' interest, engagement, and stewardship of the natural and cultural world.
- **Ethical Conduct**: Uphold high standards of professional ethics and integrity, promoting a culture of respect, fairness, and inclusivity in all interactions with students, colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree or equivalent in Geography or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification (e.g., B.Ed., PGCE, TGT) with specialization in geography.
- Prior experience teaching geography at the secondary level preferred.
- Strong content knowledge and expertise in geographic concepts, processes, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using geospatial technologies, maps, and multimedia resources for instructional purposes.
- Ability to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment that promotes curiosity, inquiry, and exploration in geography.
- Commitment to fostering global awareness, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility through geography education.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
