Executive Indirect Taxes

Areas of exposure
- GST Return Filing and compliance with all GST related requirements
- Knowledge on EXIM procedures
- Liaison with Govt Authorities
- Handling various department, statutory and internal audits
- Working knowledge in SAP
- Good knowledge in MS Office

Job duties/ Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with GST & other Indirect Tax Laws including filling of periodical tax returns
- _Assist with indirect tax related audit and compliance matters, handling various GST Assessments _
- _Work with IT teams to identify automated solutions to the compliance process and support implementation _
- _Monitor and ensure compliance with changing tax laws and provide input to management on changes that could affect company's positions _
- _liaison with tax departments, external tax advisors as well as tax authorities _
- _Supporting to close the books of accounts and reconciliation of various GL’s _
- _Maintaining Indirect Tax related records and documents _
- _Ensure closure of legacy tax cases to avoid any financial loss/burden to the company _
- _Supporting to handle departmental audits, enquiries, and similar interventions _
- _Maintain healthy external relations in order to present the company’s views on any IDT issue _
- _Develop, implement and monitor tax control and compliance through robust system and process orientation _
- _W _orking with internal and Statutory auditors in regards to the audit requirements_
