**Job Purpose**:
Cement Mill, Roller press & Slag Mill Maintenance: 1) Ensure maximum mill availability & Calculate MTTR of Cement Mill & RP, 2) Stoppage Reduction by proper planning of Preventive Maintenance of Cement Mill, RP & Flyash Silo Equipment procurement 3) Mechanical Modification work for plant productivity improvement, 4) Proper planning of manpower for effective utilization and manpower productivity improvement, 5) Proper checking of equipment health as per engineer check sheet,6) PM order & M2 notification closing in SAP, 7) Doing walk-through round as per rules 8) Near-miss, Unsafe act & condition reporting, 9) Ensure all the safety standard to be maintain properly 10) To lead in Safety standard as champion. 6) Shift supervising. 7) Ensure smooth operation cement mill & roller presser to meet the production target as per P&B.8) Digtalization initiative to be done and ensure its implementation.9) Manpower productivity improvement 10) Assist in project commissioning of RP & slag mill. 11) Ensure all 16 nos. safety standard implemnentation.12) Innovation and improvement job suggestion to be implemented.

**Job description**:
Assist, execute & implement Mechanical maintenance activities & new innovative/modification schemes in Slag mill, Ball mill, Roller press, Compressor and Pumps with optimum manpower to maximise the plant availability with zero breakdown at minimum maintenance cost, maintaining safety and environmental standards.**KRA**

**Supporting Actions**
- 1- Plant Availability- Perform Mechanical maintenance activities in Slag mill, Ball mill, Roller press, Compressor and Pump House to ensure maximum equipment availability and machined parts timely for achieving production targets.
- Plan, supervise & coordinate all mechanical Preventive maintenance activities to maximize the plant availability to achieve production as per targets- Analyze root causes for gain-loss and stoppage by regular co-ordination and discussion.
- Ensure elimination of abnormalities through PM maintenance schedule.
- Diagnose root cause of failures, repeated breakdown and take corrective action for their elimination.
- Prepare & control maintenance activities and assign jobs for optimal use of available resources.
- Monitoring of equipment health on regular basis.
- Develop MIS for monitoring and analyzing Power Consumption and identify measures for reducing power consumption.
- 2- Cost Control:
- Prepare budget to control the cost
- Monitor and analyze maintenance expenses to operate in budgeted norms and ensure execution of improvement actions for cost optimization.- Analyze actual expenses against budget and take corrective measures to reduce variance.
- Suggest measures for improvement in Design/metallurgy/modification/material structure for cost reduction.
- Identify reliable & cheaper alternatives for costly and high consumable spares.
- Life value analysis of costly spares to enhance their life.
- Promote use of in-house resources for fabrication and maximum utilization of scrape.
- Effective and efficient utilization of manpower.
- Carry Out Pareto Analysis on regular basis for the consumption of spares and make & implement action plan to reduce the consumption.
- 3- Improvement /Modifications:
- Data collection, information to identify opportunities, bottlenecks, through benchmarking, performance review, development and suggestions.
- Identify areas for improvement through planned reviews of performance, prepare improvement /Modifications proposals and supervise its execution for continuous improvement in Productivity/ Reliability of equipment.- Preparation and approval of Schemes for modification / changes.
- Ensure implementation of Schemes.
- 4- Spare Parts Management:
- Review stock position (ideal/min-max levels/Insurance Items) and Initiate action for procurement of spares.
- Monitor and control the inventory of spare parts of section to keep the inventory at optimum levels and reduce inventory costs.- Timely inspection of spare parts after receipt in stores.
- Check feasibility of repair / reconditioning to enhance life.
- Analyze un-lifted / surplus / obsolete / nonmoving item and lead time/ consumption to optimize inventory.
- Monitor use of common spares.
- Standardization of equips / machinery, spares and vendors.
- 5- System implementation:
- Monitor daily 5S and Autonomous Maintenance/ abnormality registration and corrective actions.
- Supervise and monitor quality systems (ISO, EMS, OHSAS, SA, WCM philosophy) in the section through the involvement of people for improving Plant Performance as per Quality / Environmental Standards.- Inspection of Job-order for machining jobs when comes, and allocations of jobs.
