Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and fixtures.
Make beds, change linens, and ensure rooms are clean and well-maintained.
Clean and maintain common areas, such as lobbies, corridors, elevators, and lounges.
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, and light switches.

Laundry and Linen Care: Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and other laundry items.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens and towels.
Report any damaged or worn-out linens or equipment for replacement or repair.

Room Setup and Maintenance: Prepare rooms for guests or residents, ensuring cleanliness and comfort.
Replenish supplies, such as toiletries, towels, and amenities.
Arrange furniture, decorative items, and amenities according to established standards.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or malfunctions in rooms or facilities.

Waste Management: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
Sort and recycle waste materials in designated containers.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of waste disposal areas.

Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Replenish supplies as needed and notify supervisors of any shortages.
Keep storage areas organized and clean.

Safety and Security: Follow established safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
Adhere to security measures, such as locking doors, safeguarding keys, and protecting guest or resident privacy.

Qualifications and Skills:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
