**Position description**:
1. Maintain the accounting system in area office.

2. Regulate credit exposure to the dealers.

3. Ensure achievement of profitability of area office.

4.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Timely updating of collections in SAP.
- Settle dealer claims on time.
- Ensure completion of all sales account schedules.
- Prepare of Bank reconciliation statement.
- Timely accounting of all travel, administrative & other area related marketing expenses as per the company policy for timely reimbursement/settlement.
- prepare & send monthly MIS to Head office.
- Daily review of outstanding & collection & trigger abnormalities to AM,RA,HO sales accounts.
- Analysis of dealers working capital.
- Coordinate with retail finance team in order to bring the dealers into inventory funding mode thus reducing TVSM credit exposure.
- Control AO expenses within budget allocated.
- Collection of C forms from Dealers on time.
- Coordinate with sales team to increase other incomes (insurance, extended warranty).
- Timely payment of sales tax and filling of returns.
- Adherence to local statutes viz., Shop and Establishment Act, Profession Tax, etc.
- Monthly physical verification & age wise analysis of stock in warehouse (where applicable).
- Periodical visit to dealers & train dealer accountants.
