Mpi Technician

As an MPI Technician Level 2, you will be responsible for conducting Magnetic Particle Inspections on sheet metal components to ensure they meet industry standards and client specifications. Your expertise in reading CAD drawings and understanding the manufacturing processes related to sheet metal fabrication will be crucial in maintaining our high-quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform Magnetic Particle Inspections (MPI) on sheet metal parts in accordance with industry standards.
- Interpret and evaluate test results, identifying any discontinuities or defects.
- Read and interpret CAD drawings to understand specifications and inspection requirements.
- Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure compliance with all quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
- Provide feedback on inspection findings to the production team to aid in continuous improvement.
- Ensure all inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified Level 2 MPI Technician with relevant certification.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting CAD drawings.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
