- To carry out all Electrical & Instruments related activity in the Plant.
- Operations, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Extrusion & compounding Plant related Equipment’s i.e., KTRON Feeders, Extruder, Heaters, Pelletizer, AC Drives, Motors, Hoists, Lifts, Pump, Motor, Blowers, Utility Equipment i.e., Chiller, Compressor etc.
- Ability to handle Shift Individually.
- Regular Monitoring of Plant Electrical Equipment’s & reduce the breakdown. Execution of Electrical & Instrument Project in the supervision of I & E Engineer.
- Ability to handle Electrical & Instrument Problem in the absence of I&E Engineer.

**M**ain** Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities**:

- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
- Carry out maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation of equipment applied by industrial motor controls, pump drives, and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system.
- Carry out thermography of electrical distribution panels and motor control.
- Troubleshoot problems by gathering and analyzing power quality data.
- Perform maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of control centers, de-energized higher voltage equipment, and 480-volt motors.
- Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of building circuits and similar equipment.
- Perform maintenance of alarm and SCADA systems, electrical pneumatic and electronic controls, programmable controls, and other similar equipment.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and requisition supplies and parts.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs for Plant Electrical Equipment.
- Ensure conformance with environmental and safety requirements commensurate with executing required in Electrical maintenance or replacement activities.
- Familiar with code requirements and company safety regulations.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, Earth Tester to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
- Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
- Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
- Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
- Ability to handle all Electrical maintenance activities, planning & its implementation, Internal projects planning & Execution.
- Testing of Motors.
- Maintaining ISOTS/EMS Record.
- Follow up with Vendor for Repairing.
- Carry out Minor Modification in Plant for Operations Improvement.
- Calibration of Electrical Equipment from outside & inside.
- Action against each yellow card report which is related to Instrument & electrical.

**Job Skills**:

- Equipment Knowledge of Extrusion & Compounding Process, packaging equipment, and knowledge of Electrical & instrumentation / control system, and automation, including technical standards
- Installation & Commissioning of AC Drive & its Programming
- Knowledge of HT & LT Electrical Equipment i.e., VCB, ACB, Earthing System, Lightning Systems, Generator
- Operation, Harmonic Filter, Power Factor
- Fault Finding of Electrical & Instrumentation.
- Knowledge of Electrical Safety Guidelines as per IEC standard
