Safety Technical-Central will be responsible for below major areas for their respective Zones:
1. Process Safety

2. Audit

3. Process Safety Training

4. Development of system & procedures
- Play a key role in Implementation of all procedures & guidelines of of Process Safety Management(PSM) as per Aarti Excellence Model (Aarti Management System), across all the plants
- Person will observe closely Plant operational activities,perform Job cycle check (JCC) for critical SOPs and identify Process risk due to gaps in Operational activities.
- Responsible for HAZOP, HIRA, 100% Compliance at Zone level
- Responsible for HAZOP, QRA & SIL Planning, Recommendation tracking, risk assesment
- Hands on conducting Hazop study, SIL assesment, LOPA, QRA studies.
- Collaborate with site team to support, develop and implement approach for implementation of all elements of PSM with involvement of employees at all levels, their capability development and review of PSM elements - leading and lagging indicators
- Risk management approach on high risk installations to ensure functionality of barriers
- Support plants to develop time bound action plan for implementation of PSM elements, monitor & review mechanism through their plant safety meetings
- Interface between Corporate, Plant managers /Division heads & Zone Safety heads to drive elements of PSM as per the rolled out guidelines/standards by corporate
- Play a key role in collaborating with Zonal operations,Safety and functional teams for a comprehensive review of PSM elements in monthly Zonal sustainability review meetings
- Maintain robust MIS and seamless coordination with zonal SHE teams for PSM.
- Implement program and initiative for development and sustenance of PSM culture in respective zones
- Work closely in development and implementation of Asset management, ERCP and corporate crisis guidelines
- Participate in HAZOP studies, ensure participation of full quorum from all functions and drive time bound implementation of high priority hazop recommendations
- Participate in Process Safety incidents RCA and ensure 360 degree implementation of CAPA
- Support various Sub-committee at Zones w.r.t charter preparation and their effective functioning
- Handhold Plant Managers & Division Heads to develop plans for involvement of each shop floor employee in safety elements
- Identify PSM and other specialized trainings needed for all levels of employees and develop internal resource for PSM Audits, HAZOP and RCA
- Implement harmonized system of recommendation tracking and drive 360 degree implementation of applicable learnings from corporate driven LFI meetings
- Develop and implement Process Safety Training module.
