**Job Title: CNC Turning Operator / Setter / Programmer**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Machine Setup and Preparation**:

- Prepare CNC turning machines for operation by loading raw materials, installing tooling, and setting up fixtures according to job requirements.
- Conduct machine checks and verify the alignment of workpieces and tooling to ensure accurate machining processes.
- **Operation**:

- Operate CNC turning machines to execute programmed sequences, monitor machining processes, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication and tool changes, to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.
- **Programming**:

- Develop CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and specifications.
- Optimize toolpaths, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize cycle times.
- Make program edits and adjustments as needed to accommodate changes in production requirements or to improve process performance.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, such as tool wear or machine malfunctions, to ensure the production of high-quality parts.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling specifications, and production reports.
- Document any deviations from standard procedures and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to machine operation and workplace safety.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a CNC turning operator, setter, and programmer, with a minimum of [X] years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAM software for toolpath generation.
- Strong technical knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality assurance techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining or related field preferred.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and operate machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

**Working Conditions**:

- The position may require working in a noisy and fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to various hazards. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.

**Salary**:

- Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
