Shadow Teacher position for school in South Delhi

: A shadow teacher works with a child with special needs in the classroom on a one-to-one basis.

The “shadow” -as the name states - will follow the child as a shadow, while at the same time promote his/her independence in social, emotional and communication skills. A shadow will implement effective strategies to support the overall wellbeing of the child.

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a full-time shadow teacher, you will;
- provide in and out of class support for a child to achieve success in classroom
- work closely with the homeroom teacher and Learning Support Team to provide support for the child to work towards achieving his/her Individual Support Plan goals
- build positive relationships with the students that they are working with
- provide regular reports to the teacher, parents and learning support team
- liaise with other specialists who are working with the child
- demonstrate initiative in collaborative planning, making resources and suggesting learning strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Native or Highly Proficient English fluency
- Educational experience with a background in working with children who have learning difficulties

- Be open-minded, creative
- Have a reasonable good level of English
- Be dependable
- Have the willingness to educate him/herself in learning disorders and ABA techniques
- Be available all weekdays (7:45 am to 1:45 pm)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹20,000.00 per month
