IT Officer

**Location **Umbergaon Factory**

Travel - None outstation. UBR Factory to UBR CMU Units or to VF/HO

Reporting to Unit head & IT head.

Approx Total Experience Required - 5-7 years

Desired Qualification Graduation in IT related field

Additional Qualifications Post-graduation is an advantage

Position Summary

Job responsibilities
- To understand Users Issue/Requirements and co-ordinate with concerned person/vendor for resolution of the same.
- To assist and help all team members in overcoming challenges related to SAP usage.
- Provide support, _including process documentation and_ relevant reports to management on demand.
- To pass the necessary _rectification / adjustment_ entries in SAP after approval from respective HOD.
- Talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
- Work continuously on a task until completion.
- Prioritise and manage many open cases at one time.
- Test and evaluate new technology _in consultation with other plant and HO_
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Replace parts as required related to IT.
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
- Set up new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues _in consultation with other plant and HO_
- _Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs._
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
- Need to handle other IT related equipment as well.

Job Requirements
- Food or related Industry Experience minimum 5 years along with IT & Excellent Computer skill.
- **Needs to have worked on SAP software and should have knowledge of SAP MM, PP & SD Module.**
- Must work in coordination & Team work
- **Willingness to support remotely beyond office hours**

**Having good commercial knowledge is much advantage**.
