**Job Location**: Mostly home-based, with occasional office visits once in a week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research to develop or improve diagnostic or therapeutic counseling techniques.
- Creating conversation flow and pathways that guide users through the chatbot's functionality in a logical and user-friendly manner.
- Designing and implementing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy and other evidence-based therapies as appropriate.
- Collaborating with other members of the team to ensure that the chatbot is providing the most appropriate and effective care.
- Creating conversation flow and pathways that guide users through the chatbot's functionality in a logical and user-friendly manner.
- Assessing patients and identifying their problems.
- Implementing individualized treatment programs.
- Undertaking psychometric testing.
- Collect information about individuals or clients, using interviews, case histories, observational techniques, and other assessment methods.
- Evaluating patient responses to treatment over time.
- Develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on clients' interests, abilities, and needs.
- Offering both one-on-one and group counseling.
- Establishing collaborative working relationship with the client, based on trust and respect.
- Planning and implementing specialist psychological treatments to help clients to understand their feelings/behavior.
- Evaluate the results of counseling methods to determine the reliability and validity of treatments.

**Psychologist Relevant Skills: -**
- Interpersonal skills, as part of the counselling process are building a trusting relationship with clients.
- Analytical skills, as counselling psychologists will need to evaluate their patient to discover their issues.
- Written communication skills, as counselling psychologists will need to keep detailed reports of their client’s progress. They will also contribute to research papers and must be able to write well.
- Empathy and compassion, as counselling psychologists will have to work with clients with lots of issues.
- Verbal communication skills, as counselling psychologist will need to communicate effectively with their clients and with other healthcare professionals (e.g., psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians).
- A non-judgmental approach, as counselling psychologists must not pass judgement or advice onto a client’s actions or feelings.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Masters in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling)
- 1 year of working in relevant domain i.e., research, clinic, private practice etc.
