Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primarily responsible for execution and management of a portfolio of projects, which may include one or larger projects, as well as smaller enhancements.
- Responsible for scope control with internal & external stakeholders, task execution with the development team and relevant upward communication to managers.
- Helps define process improvements and feedback for large, multi-part projects that need creative project management strategies required for timely execution.
- Identify and resolve lack of clarity across teams on project components, questions, and anything that hinders the forward progress of projects.
- Provide necessary feedback to project stakeholders that could include specification feedback, escalating issues to managers, and managing scope changes and/or clarifications to project resources.
- Manage handoffs at each stage in the project life cycle according to guidelines specified in the department's development protocol.
- Partner with multiple Agile teams, including managing milestones, identifying and tracking issues and risks, as well as driving the team to meet project goals.
- Train, coach and evangelize the Agile mindset, frameworks, and practices.
- Consult with internal IT customers on net new and cloud migration initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

**Education**:
Required
- BA or BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

Preferred
- PMP and/or CSM Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- ITIL Foundation v3 or v4

**Skills**:Required
- Past experience in projects related to core infrastructure (data center, network, Azure/cloud migration) or end user productivity / collaboration technology rollout or projects driving IT operational excellence (related to Identity & Access management, Asset Management, End User operations)
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal technical and business-oriented teams
- Expert knowledge using Agile work management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical individuals
- Must have good verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Must be able to work constructively in a team environment
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Strong customer and results orientation mindset
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
- Ability to function as an effective team member

**Experience**:
Required
- 5+ years IT project management experience with ability to balance multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Experience with Project Management and Agile Software Development toolsets: JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheets, Windows Suite (MPP, Excel).
