**About Loka**

Loka's Centre in Bihar is an educational institute and organic farm in the making, with a small team of well qualified and exemplary teachers and project managers. Though rooted locally the institute has an international character through its professional advisors and guest teachers from all around the world. Loka's school has a holistic approach which is made practical through a divers curriculum that educates the head, heart and hands of its students. **Early childhood education**

Loka's educators strive to create such conscious, collaborative communities around the children in their care. Loka's pre-primary section is dived into three levels: nursery, LKG and UKG. For each level Loka aspires to have one Mother Teacher. Creative learning, engaging all the senses of the child, learning by doing, peace education and independent learning are important characteristics of Loka's educational vision.

**Pre-Primary Teacher**

Educators at Loka are responsible, dedicated, creative, enthusiastic, neat & clean and well qualified human beings. More than anything Loka's educators are valued for being living examples who embrace qualities such as authenticity (originality) and values such as honesty, peace and righteousness. Some of the required skills for pre-primary teachers are: a beautiful handwriting, drawing skills, perfect verbal and written communication in both English and Hindi, computer skills (word, excel, internet) and a minimum of three years teaching experience, most preferably at a Krishnamurti, Waldorf or Montessori school. An interest in yoga, meditation and reflection is appreciated Please also note that we make long days at Loka, simply because we love our work
