**Job Title**: Tank Fabricator
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Blueprint Interpretation**: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the requirements for tank fabrication projects.
- **Material Selection**: Choose appropriate materials for tank construction based on project specifications, considering factors such as size, purpose, and the type of materials the tank will store.
- **Cutting and Shaping**: Use cutting tools, shears, and other equipment to cut and shape metal sheets and other materials according to the design requirements.
- **Welding**: Perform welding tasks, including MIG welding, TIG welding, and other processes, to assemble tank components. Ensure proper weld quality and adherence to safety standards.
- **Assembly**: Assemble tank components, including walls, seams, and joints, using welding techniques and mechanical fastening methods. Ensure precision and accuracy in alignment.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect completed tanks to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. Make necessary adjustments and corrections to achieve desired outcomes.
- **Testing**: Conduct pressure tests and other relevant tests to verify the integrity and functionality of the fabricated tanks.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout the fabrication process. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure a safe working environment.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of fabrication processes, including materials used, time spent, and any issues encountered. Provide documentation as required by supervisors or quality control processes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the fabrication process.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in welding or fabrication from a recognized vocational or technical school.
- Proven experience as a tank fabricator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficient in various welding techniques and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical fitness and stamina for prolonged periods of standing and manual labor.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the proper use of personal protective equipment.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
