- We are in search of a talented Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of our state-of-the-art data center infrastructure. This role requires expertise in crafting robust network solutions, adhering to industry best practices, and prioritizing security measures to ensure the reliability and scalability of our data center operations.**Responsibilities**:

- Data Center Design and Planning:Lead the design and development of the data center network architecture, aligning it with organizational objectives and future growth projections.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess technical needs, and translate them into actionable plans.
Design comprehensive network topologies, encompassing both physical and logical components, to optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.
Evaluate and select appropriate networking technologies, hardware, and software solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Network Implementation and Deployment:Oversee the implementation and deployment of the designed network architecture, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
Configure, deploy, and optimize network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other critical infrastructure components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions seamlessly with other data center systems and services.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation to verify the functionality, performance, and security of the deployed network infrastructure.
- Ongoing Support and Maintenance:Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the data center network, troubleshooting issues, and resolving incidents to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Monitor network performance, capacity, and health metrics, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or bottlenecks.
Implement network upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with change management processes and procedures.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to resolve escalated technical issues and optimize the performance of network equipment and services.
- Security and Compliance:Develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard the data center network against cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
Implement encryption, access controls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to continuously enhance the security posture of the data center network.
- Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines to facilitate efficient management and support.
Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams, enabling them to effectively operate and maintain the data center network.

**Job Requirement**

**What will you require to be successful in this role**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Extensive experience 10-15 years in network architecture, design, implementation, and support within data center environments.
- Proficiency in networking protocols, technologies, and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLANs, MPLS, and SDN.
