**The Opportunity**

Software testing is at the heart of quality assurance and a critical element in the solution delivery process. Professionals within the testing specialty focus on the use of methodologies and techniques as well as tools and technologies. As a tester you will contribute to maintain the quality for the projects.

**What You Will Do**
- Understand and analyze the requirements to create detailed test cases.
- Design and develop the test scenarios and test scripts.
- Execute test cases/scripts and analyze results to identify deficiencies.
- Track bugs and report to development teams for resolution
- Document software defects using a bug tracking system.
- Prepare automation test scripts for different modules.
- Work closely with business and quality analysts in a highly collaborative manner.
- Adhere to team priorities and work well in an integrated developer/tester environment.
- Participate in backlog discussions, estimation sessions and review meetings.
- Ability and eagerness to learn quickly.

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology or Master’s in science / Bachelor of Science with Computers.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies (SDLC/STLC)
- Understanding of the Agile methodology
- Must have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills

**Nice to have**:

- Understanding on any Automation framework using Selenium
- Knowledge on any of the programming languages (Java/.Net/Python)
- Good at writing SQL queries
- Knowledge on defect tracking tools
